Vlatka Mejaški Bošnjak, President of the Meeting, Giovanni Cioni, Chair of the Scientific Committee and Martin Bax, Chair of EACD met in London recently to review the abstract which had been sent in for the EACD Meeting to be held in Zagreb, 5-7th June. Vlatka Mejaški Bošnjak brought with her the scores of her Local Scientific Committee. Happily there were a very large number of abstracts but this has caused us some difficulties and we have had to make some hard decisions.
- Nobody should have more than one poster presentation. Those people who sent in four or five posters or more than one oral presentation will find only one has been accepted. We are aware that a number of you will be disappointed as we have had to reject some material which was good but perhaps not quite up to the quality of some other presentations or papers that are being presented orally.
- The instructional courses and the invited speakers abstracts will be printed as a Supplement in Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology. We will also print the abstracts we have selected for oral presentation and for the posters we gave the highest scores. Other abstracts will be printed in Supplement of Neurologia Croatica.
Because of the very high standard of submitted abstracts this means that all the material that you are going to hear in Zagreb will be of a very high standard and we look forward to seeing you there.
